At Live Out Loud Adventures (LOLA) we offer consulting services to schools, organizations, businesses and individuals in the areas of risk management, curriculum integration and leadership development.
LOLA owner and guide, Angus Murray, has over 30 years of experience developing, planning, and leading trips around the world. He has worked at three different independent schools across Canada as both a program facilitator and as the manager responsible for risk management of offsite trips. In the 1990's he worked at Outward Bound Canada as an instructor and finished his tenure at the wilderness school as the Program Manager. Since leaving Shawnigan Lake School in 2009 he has worked full time as a consultant, guide and trainer with LOLA.
Angus has presented at international and national conferences in the areas of risk management and safe trip facilitation. He trained senior staff in the safe delivery of "offsite excursions" at the CAIS Leadership Institute in June of 2010.
